http://drupal.org/node/253506 fixed upload test. It works on XP, OSX and debian etch according to testing by me, cwgordon, drewish and webchick in irc.

The test passes with these versions of curl:
7.15.5
7.16.0
7.16.2
7.16.3

Not with this one (ubuntu gutsy):
7.16.4

Post patch, I get exactly the same failures as before.

Of course it could be something other than curl version which I've overlooked.

Works on Ubuntu Hardy with curl 7.18.0

OK then, I'm going to set this as active needs more info until someone else can reproduce. Hopefully it's just a glitch on my desktop.
