Hailing from the depths of the swamp, I'd like to showcase my first Drupal website at www.GatorTailgating.com.

This site could not have been possible without drupal and the tremendous community support available, including all of the modules.

Please comment, and suggest improvements!

Thanks!

-Mike

A very non Drupally looking Drupal site. Look a lot of work, obviously.

You should provide a list of the modules you used and what theme you started with.

What kind of traffic do you have. Might be interested in ad swapping.

congratulations! its "well stocked" and well organized. how did you do the picture database? with ratings and everything? i love that. i wonder if there is a similar site for fans in my state. michigan

Thanks! I did the picture database using CCK to define the image content type. Then I used the Views Bonus pack (with views) to create the view for both the front page (in a block) and in the regular gallery pages.

The ranking is done via the 5 Star module and Voting API module.

Very impressive. And I already signed up for an acct :-) Although I only make it back for games once every few years.
Any chance that you would share this theme with a fellow Gator (Class of '91 BSME)?
I may attempt a similar prototype for the Rocky Mountain Gator Club in Denver.
I am also working on setting up a tailgating site for my Longhorn friends (i used to live in Austin, TX).
I am somewhat new to Drupal. OK if I send you an offline message about specific modules used?
Go Gators!

Hey Toby,

Definitely- You can Private Message me on the site (username is mike), or contact me through here. Definitely share w your buddies out there. We generally have a lot of people tailgate with us from out of town every game. They find us via Google. We've had them as far as from South Africa!

Anyway, let me know if you need any help with the Rocky Mountain Gator Club or the Longhorns site. We've actually tailgated with a couple of Gators out of Denver last year (Ryan & Kathy I believe).
