I'm looking at converting one of my sites to drupal so that it can become a community site.
However there's a significant feature which I don't know if it can be duplicated in drupal.
The site is: The Reiki Page (reiki.7gen.com) ... A significant part of the site is the Reiki practitioner directory, a purely homegrown thing which I implemented in 1997 (or so) using my homegrown scripting engine I built atop TCL.
The essential design is that a practitioner is listed in one or more geographical locations. So the directory URL's list the geographical structure, in the URL. Each page in the directory lists either sub-geographies or practitioners located in that geographical location.
I don't yet understand drupal internals, so maybe this is easy. However what I've been reading in the handbook makes it look like this is hard. What I gather from the handbook is each "node" is entered individually ...? I suppose the practitioner entry becomes a special node (probably based on flexinode), but then how do I create the hierarchical browsing?
