Thanks for the Very promising module, your contribution highly appreciated! ...however, I was wondering, if there is any possibility to edit a Time Map entry if made a typo or other mistake like choosing a wrong category etc... or just want to delete an entry?

Currently, no. I went back and forth on this functionality for a few reasons. On one hand, yes, people make mistakes and should be able to fix them. On the other, there is value about having a sense of a "lockbox", once you put it in, you can't get it out. An issue like a timesheet is a prime target for "fudging" after the fact to make a work day look like you'd like it to, rather than how it actually is. This was the debate going on in my head when I put it out.
I have since come to my own conclusion that editing should be available. Ultimately, my goal with this module is a personal development tool. If someone wants to "fudge the numbers", then they will only get what value out if it that they put in to it, and, again, people will make mistakes and should be able to correct them.
You seem to be a +1 for making editing by users possible, so I will certainly take that into account.
So, yes, it will get in there eventually, with watchdog() reporting the changes/edits. Probably, however, only in 2.x.
