I like this script. I uploaded a rotation of 3 images and they seem to work fine.
Suddenly one of the image files just disappear from the server, and then after a while all the files are gone.
I just start getting the "File not found" errors in my logs right after a cron job update.
Is this a known issue?
On a side note, how do I make the images link to somewhere?

megayo commentedI have the exact same problem. The images just disappear the next time I go back to my site.

jessla commentedHi all -
I was having the same problem, too (reg images disappearing) and I, too, wanted to add a link (ref silvercat's initial comment post).
Not sure if you all got it working yet or not, but in case you hadn't I thought I'd post a note.
I tried something today and it seems to have worked so far (crossing my fingers).
I clicked "create new content" > "Rotor Item" and then added the title for the content as normal, but instead of attaching the image using the "attach image" button at the top of the screen (under the "tab text" box) -- I attached the image another way, using the "upload file" option at the bottom of the screen. Then, once I got the path name for this image, I used it to attach the image in my WYSIWG editor (in my case the FCKeditor).
In the field where text goes in the box for the FCKEditor, I clicked the "source" button to write html and then I used the directions for step 3 that I found in this post:
http://drupal.org/node/268882
(using the path name for the img that was created when I uploaded the file).
It worked for the first banner, so I added a 2nd one, and voila! now I have two banners that rotate and that can be clicked on.
Anyway, thought I'd share in case you hadn't gotten it working yet and/or in case anybody else sees this comment string and wonders how to attach images with links without the images disappearing.
