Contexts for node add forms do not seem to appear in the add content to pane menu;

When I create a plain node context, I get the new "Node Context" option list appear in the add content to pane pop up; when I create a node add context, nothing appears in the add to pane pop-up, making it impossible(?) to actually embed an add node form into a pane.

I have added "Node ID" as an argument a second time for a different content type.
When trying to save the content-panes for the new context all panes disappear for this context and I get an error:

Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [....]modules/panels5.2/includes/display_edit.inc on line 222.
