I have copied theme_editor.module into the modules directory and created a new directory called theme_editor under themes/engines and placed theme_editor_engine.engine there. now when i log in to admin and go to the theme editor configure menu, it says

The theme storage directory does not exist or is not writable.

I have tried making folders in smartftp and setting their access settings to 666 or 777 but nothing is working. what should i do? thanks
