This is the first stable version of the new Auto Menu 2.x branch. Known issues are that the menu tile of existing nodes will not be updated when the node title is updated. We plan to fix this in the 2.1 release as we don't think this is a critical issue.
This new branch indicates a new path in the development of the Auto Menu module. In the Issue queue there have been many requests to support taxonomies and we think that people will want to have other Drupal elements as well for auto menu generation. Therefore we turned the Auto Menu module into an API module with 3 sub modules. A sub module for Node menu generation, Organic Groups and Taxonomies.
Essentially this is a copy of the dev release that has been around for quite a long time. We are using this in a large number of production sites and are fairly confident that it is stable enough. Because we are going to release some major changes in a 6.x-2.x version we're marking this 6.x-1.0 version as final such that we can move on with a new major version.
