Hi,

I was reading through the Organic Groups documentation and it states that any member that creates an organic group is automatically made the group owner.

I was wondering if its possible for the members who create the group be given a different role type instead (eg. Group Creator)?

Because I have 2 levels of membership and only paying members should be able to attain Group Owner status.

So if I was a free member, I would be able to create a Group but have restricted rights to the group. But if I was a paying member, when I create a group, I would be given Group Owner rights. Or I could apply to become the Group Owner of an existing group.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Used the OG User Roles module.

Its pretty much what I needed but looks like I need to hack it a little to get what I want. Especially the portion on getting people to apply for a role and pay for it within an OG.
