If a node has 2 groups in the audience and an user can only see nodes of 1 group, then the second group is still listed. Dependent on the visibility of the posts that second group should not be listed.

from the bug description, sounds like a db_rewrite_sq() is missing.

I'm not going to be actively developing the D5 branch. If a patch is posted and reviewed I will gladly commit. Also, if someone wants commit access to work on the D5 branch I will be happy to grant it.
