Hi,
This is an excellent module, but there is currently no User Interface to display 'Subscribe to xxxx taxonomy term' type links on either teasers or nodes. This works very nicely for content types so there's probably no reason why these links shouldn't appear on content to make it easier for users to subscribe just to taxonomy.
The module creator points out there's currently no UI on the nodes but it does work via User Accounts - I've tested this and it works well but I think it would still be beneficial to have the option to subscribe via a link on the content itself. So on his suggestion I'm posting a feature request - I've seen a couple of users who were similarly confused by the non-appearance of the taxonomy subscribe links on content, so hopefully someone might be able to help out with this.
I'm not really grasping PHP enough myself yet or I'd have a go myself.
Any volunteers? Thanks!

jose reyero commentedI'm just changing this to 'task' to note this is something to be done (and patches will be welcomed for this feature).

trevorleenc commentedsadly, my skills in working on something like this are lacking, but I'm very interested in this.

geodaniel commentedI agree that this would be a useful feature (in D6 version also).

geodaniel commentedSee also darren.ferguson's patch at #315454: Notifications Tags to allow subscription to just one tag which gives the backend support for subscribing to a tag. This could then be linked to from the theming layer, for example, or if a UI is devised in this ticket, that could point to it.

jose reyero commentedThis is implemented in 6.x. No new features for 5.x, just bug fixes.
