I've just got round to installing wymeditor 5.2.0. It seems to be working OK, though I haven't tested it thoroughly.

In the INSTALL.txt file users are suggested to patch drupal from the issue http://drupal.org/node/156221 . There are lots of patches there and it's a long thread, However, there is a specific module for doing the js update: http://drupal.org/project/jquery_update (specifically the 5.x.2.0-rc1 version).

I've tried installing this module and wymeditor seems to work with it. Do people agree we should point people at the project? Perhaps we should even make it a dependency in the .info file for the 5.2.x branch?

Title: Should jquery_update be a dependency for wymeditor 5.2.0? » Make wymeditor 5.2.0 depend on jquery_update

I agree. .info file for 5.2.x should make jquery_update a requirement.

By the way, don't take to serious the INSTALL.txt and README.txt because they are not updated.

Should I provide a (very short) patch for this?

@magico: Thanks for letting me know about the docs - I was going to mention that in a separate issue. I've notiiced you have been busy in the issue queue and was wondering if you co-maintaining the module with fall_Out, or helping out in a less official capacity.

I think you don't need. Fall_0ut will fix that easily.

I can continue to input my opinion, but I will not have time to do any code and I'm not so good in English as some of you guys. Well, I already help in a less official way because I am fall_out work colleague :)

Great!

I've got some ideas for improving the rest of the INSTALL.txt documentation; would you like me to post this as a patch (in a new issue)?
