Description
Hi,
Was wondering if we can create an option in addition to 'Status' and 'Priority' as 'Assigned to' to assign projects to the team member(s).
regards,

IMO, this is good idea.
In my case, I need assigning person for the tickets, tasks and Project.
best regards

Yes, this is one of the next features that I'll implement.

In the mean time, you could just use CCK + user reference. It takes 2 min to set up and is working great for me.

This will be a nice feature. I did not add CCK field. I fear of breaking something on the next update to this module.

+1 (agree on waiting until the feature gets done)

It seems that to be most useful, the new assignee field should tie into the workflow (both 5.x & 6.x). Otherwise I don't see the benefit over just using cck and a user reference field.

Confirming: CCK works great and will not break future updates.

I agree, it would be awesome if this worked in with the rest of the Storm system so that on the task and ticket pages (for example) it shows who the task or ticket is assigned to. And then this can be edited, ideally at the same time as commenting - as per casetracker or project modules. (It's that neat integration that's hard to achieve with a CCK reference)
This way someone can work on a task and once at a certain stage assign it to the next person who needs to do something. Then if each user has a 'my tasks' page (and 'my tickets' etc) then they can see what they have still to do for them specifically.
I believe this is where 'team member' is heading, right?

Althought this one is older - combining into #392414: Assign projects, tasks, and tickets to people which is more general.

@hixster: you'd be better subscribing to #595276: Create more fields for assigning to users/teams, this issue isn't active anymore.
