Integrate my old forum into my new drupal installation?!?! SOS!!!

Hey!

I have a simple machines forum that I've already had users sign up to and post in... I want to somehow integrate the login for Drupal and Simple Machines so that people don't have to sign up twice or sign in twice while keeping the existing content. And I don't want to incovenience my users by having them sign up twice, so I was hoping it could be done seamlessly from my end.

The forum is on my subdomain: http://forum.candicejarrett.com
and the drupal installation is at: http://www.candicejarrett.com

Please let me know if you think this is possible - and if you could point me in the direction of a good tutorial, I'd really appreciate it!!!!
