Missing "create story" and "create page" in D6?

Hi all,

I can't work out why I would be missing story and page menu items (they are not disabled, putting in the path /node/add/story brings up nothing but the generic /node/add page).

I have several sites running off of this code base, and none of them have this issue. This is the oldest one though, so maybe something went plink during an upgrade?

Can anyone make a suggestion that might help?
