Hello,

I am running a kind of quiz on my website which consists of a forum node with some rules and periodicity without any real award. Every week a new question is created and users have to guess what the answer is.

Since this quiz is getting more popularity on my website I would like to know if there is any way to give "awards" to those users that have answered correctly the weekly question so a ranking would be generated "on the fly" and users with more correct answers would be happy to see themselves at the top of the ranking.

Can anyone give some ideas? are there better ways to do that?

Add the Points module.
There are a lot of ways to use the points once generated. You can create different roles and allow them to have more privliges as their scores get higher, or even exchange the points for products...
