I am in desperate need for solution on this problem, I could log on in IE and FF no problem, but IE stopped working just yesterday, and I tried reinstall the drupal, no luck yet
Setting the server time fixed
Setting the server time fixed it for me--after reading http://genotrance.wordpress.com/2006/11/23/session-cookies-rejected-by-i.... Server was hours off. On CentOS set system>admin>date & time settings to synch with company's time server. Restarted apache, cleared browser cache and it worked.
Tried truncating sessions table but that locked out FF as well as IE. Tried Remember Me module but didn't work. Same site was also working on another server and after someone said in handbook it was probably server related went looking.
Hope that helps.
