Say I type text with HTML entities --in a comment, or in a node-- here on drual.org.

I now click 'Preview'. The entities are lost: they are converted to the real characters --in the preview area and in the textarea.

(Perhaps this has nothing to do with 'Preview'. Perhaps the problem occurs on 'Submit' too, but I can't verify this unless I spam your site, which of course I won't do.)

I mark this 'critical' because:

- This bug may lead to lose of data: if somebody edits a book page, "inadvertently" clicks Preview, then Submit, he loses the entities somebody meticulously put there.

- I tend to use Preview when I participate in the support forums, and since I tend to use entities too, this bug ruins my replies.

Btw, I tried to give an example for such text, but it isn't easy ...the bug erases the entities I type.

Becuase it ruins my posts. Here's an issue I just filed which nobody's going to understand because the most important word, "<PRE>", got botched ;-)

I see the entities are preserved on Submit. So it seems the problem is specific to Preview.
