hey there,
this must be a newbie question, but I haven't been able to use action views anywhere on my test site.
I've activated the module, granted access to authenticated users/site admins but nothing came up.
how can I use this module's features? I've set up a test view but there were no action views commands on it - even accessing as a registered user.
regards,
Luciano

luco commentedupdate: I've discovered how it works. check this out:
1) click the "provide page view" checkbox under the "page" field. oh and provide an URL. duh!
2) choose "action view" on the "view type" dropdown field.
3) click "save" at the bottom of the page.
4) access you newly-saved view and voilà!
5) do whatever with your viewed items.
tip: if you have a view configured like, say, "family_photo_album", you can duplicate it as "family_photo_album_actionview". this way you'll edit the node exactly as it appears on your site.
hope this helps some other newbies such as meself. views is quite the nice module, it's just poorly documented for the Ordinary Joe.

mdekkers commentedThis Module will no longer be maintained (shocker) as this functionality is mainly present in VBO and thats what we started using internally.
