* warning: mail() [function.mail]: "sendmail_from" not set in php.ini or custom "From:" header missing in C:\Documents and Settings\Ryan.RYANSCOMP\My Documents\WOS\wosportable\www\drupal\includes\mail.inc on line 193.
* Unable to send e-mail. Please contact the site admin, if the problem persists.

This is the warning I am getting and I have no clue on what to due.

You can register your first user as admin.
And then login, visit http://localhost/drupal/admin/user/settings
uncheck the checkbox Require e-mail verification when a visitor creates an account.
Now you can register user without sending a email.
