REMOVE Taxonomy Term

I made this but for 6.x, the patch is avalaible in the 6.X port thread

any way you can do this patch for 5.x? It would be very very helpful. If this is or isn't possible, can you let me know so I don't begin to remove nodes by hand (oh so tedious)? If I know it might be added relatively soon, I can wait a bit, but if it can't be done, I need to remove a bunch of terms from nodes somehow.

Unfortunaly I don't have any 5.x avalaible anymore. But honestly backport should be verry easy by juste modify .info file. Thereis is nothing very version specific in this module.

BACKUP your database before trying this and give me the results.

For a variety of reasons, I am just going to upgrade the site to 6.x. However, on another site I am developing from scratch, I loaded 5.x-1.1, applied the patch in the 6.x thread, but am not seeing the REMOVE functionality. Is it in the patch (which only partially applied, though it is running. Not sure where it went wrong, somewhere in the module file, HUNK 1)? Any chance you have a tar of the 6.x module I can run and test?

I applied the patch by hand and the new functionality is great!
