Please Request Themes to be Ported to Drupal
One of the things people often observe about Drupal is that whilst it is a very powerful piece of software, the free themes available do not match up in quality to those of other content management systems. In an effort to change this, Duplika web hosting ( http://www.duplika.com ) have generously offered to sponsor the porting of themes from other content management systems, and open source static websites, to Drupal. These themes are being ported by us (Avioso Designs - http://www.avioso.com ).
Some themes have already been ported (AD Blueprint, AD Lemon Twist, AD Novus, and AD The Morning After), however both Duplika and Avioso would like to continue this work and possibly port 10 themes or more. Furthermore we would like to port themes that the Drupal community would really like to see Drupal versions of, and thus we are asking for requests from you, as members of this community.

I really like the themes ported so far but I wonder if the current ones AD has ported could be improved a couple ways...
different color/logo variations of the same base theme to reflect their support of various F1 race teams. This would be a persistent setting not like the method Four Seasons uses for D5.
While I realize I could customize a theme myself or pay for someone to do it, I think it might be a good idea to do these kind of themes for new folks coming into Drupal, like myself, who need to spend time (re-)building the site's content up and not worrying about the look and feel.

As much as people complain about the lack of Drupal themes I can't believe there's so little response to this. Bumping it up again to get some more attention for you. :)
