Description
In a view that produces the gmap + text results below, the sort options in the view do not seem to be adhered to. I selected a default sort for the Node: Title, and selected the Node: Title under the "Sort criteria" area in the view configuration. However the text results below the map are not sorted by Node: Title.

The results pane does not sort according to the view setting, it sorts based on closest locations within 50 Miles to the center of the viewed map. If no locations are within 50 miles, then only 1 closest location is shown. Currently the 50 miles is hard coded but there are plans on allowing this to be changed.

Thanks for the info. That said, it should be an option. While you're allowing the "50 miles" to be configurable, you could also allow for the view's sorting options to take effect. On my maps, I don't care about distance from center, since the center has no meaning for me. Just trying to display what exists in a geographic vicinity.

Just to clarify this request, I see two areas of configuration needed here:
1. Currently the results text only shows links relating to the markers currently visible on the map. That makes total sense for some applications. Another possibility is to show all results text no matter how many markers are shown on the map. Then, clicking on the results text scrolls the map to show that marker front and center, with it's info box. You might consider of the former is a "map-centric" approach (map interactions master the results), where the latter is a "results-text-centric" approach (results interactions master the map). I have need for both.
2. The results text bullets are currently sorted by distance from center. A proposed method is to allow the sort configurations in the view (i.e. "Sort criteria") to dominate the sort of the results text. Both are valid, and both are useful in different circumstances. I personally need the latter.
Thanks again for supporting this! Tremendous work. It's very much appreciated!
