When one opens an audio node there appears a link 'Click to play'. This is all in a page that one can add blocks and text etc to. But when you Click to play one is brought to an empty page with only the player in the middle. Is the sentence Click to play really necessary? Why is the player not on that location? Or do I do something wrong.

Many thanks

Don't thank me because this is exactly the problem I have! Just subscribing to this thread :)

Hi, I found the answer:
Install the getid3 part of the audio module. Go to audio configure and 'getid3' tab.
This requires that you have to install a library from a 3rd party site, and then delete some demo songs.

Then go back and edit your songs and resubmit.

This helped me!

Hope it helps you :)

Hi.

I cannot really see whether this is the solution for the problem I mentioned, the fact that the player is displayed in an otherwise empty page. Maybe it is. My solution was to go for the Mediafield module and especially for the Mediafield_display module. Very useful apart from the fact that you can theme the players a bit but not very much. I was trying to get the button player to twice the size but I think a new SWF (Flash-action script 2.0 ) will have to be made.
But it does work.

Hi,
I was having this problem as well on drupl 5.11 and this comment fixed it:

http://drupal.org/node/68786#comment-185046

The file format must be mp3 and sample rate and bit rate because flash only supports 11025, 22050 and 44100Khz files.

edited: I'm using the 5.x-1 version of the module not 5.x-4\

edit #2: Actually this worked about 2 seconds and now the flash player again is missing. I installed 5.x1-4 on a dev site and every audio file is now "click to play" text rather than flash player.
