Log files storage can cause problems

Description

I had installed Click HeatMap several weeks ago and left it enabled to track all pages. I really only wanted a few pages tracked, but the module options are either homepage, all, or nothing. Yesterday my modules control panel began to time out. The problem was the large number of log files stored within the Click HeatMap module. The modules control page parses the modules directory every time, and the sheer volume of heat map logs overwhelmed it.

I suggest moving the log storage to somewhere like /tmp or /files.

My apologies is this has already been addressed -- I'm loving the module otherwise.

This is planned to become a part of http://drupal.org/project/uts which is part of my GSoC (Google Summer of Code) project. When it does it will be rewritten to fix this as well as a number of other issues.

At the moment you can set the scope to all pages then go in the actual block settings and use its page stuff to pick what pages you want.

Try that out and let me know...otherwise at the moment that is all that will be done.

The link to the above does not work (usability suite) - got a good URL for it?
Thanks,

Hi, what do you mean by "actual block settings"? Which block are you referring to?

Thanks

Goto admin/build/blocks and select "configure" the Click HeatMap block.
