Hi Folks,

I just turned on my site and I'm using Drupal 5.7. I have watchdog on and I also use the stats in my cPanel. But, is there a way to get basic info like Number of unique hits per day? All I want to know is how many visitors besides myself are accessing the site or area's of the site. I've read things about the Statistics Module but when I went to download it I don't see it any longer.

Any info is much appreciated!

there is a basic statistics module included with core--- it's in the "Core - optional" fieldset at admin/build/modules

I would suggest Google Analytics. It's super-easy to use and is very informative. Best of all, it's free. However, if you want the information directly accessible within your site, then it's probably not for you.

Thanks for the replies folks. I see that it's a core module but just getting basic info seems challenging but probably that's just me :) Anyway, I'll look into the Google Analytics. That sounds like it might be perfect!
