The official 6.x-1.2 release is broken. Observe that the tarball is only 8.67 KB in size, and contains exactly three files:

  • page.tpl.php~
  • skyroots.info~
  • style.css~

Note the tilde characters at the end of each file name, which render Drupal incapable of seeing the theme. If you remove the tildes you can see and switch to the theme, but the styling is seriously screwed up -- width errors, no images at all, etc.

The "Development" version seems to work fine. It's nearly a megabyte in size, all the files are there, Drupal sees it, and it works.

I think maybe somebody messed up the regular tarball at release time. Might want to fix that.

hey. i don't have time to learn the complicated CVS system drupal.org uses. If someone else wants to fix this then it will get done. Otherwise, just use the download that works.
