is there a general figure of the modules that already have upgraded to 6.0?

it might give me a gneral feeling of installing a new 6 version of drupal

Decide on the modules you need, then only use 6.x if those modules have been ported. The overall figure doesn't really affect you!

You will need to look for the modules you need.

Many modules are only needed for previous versions, deal with migration issues or implement the same feature in a different way. So the perceived lack of modules in D6 is partly due to consolidation.
