Contact Module - Disable Personal Contact Function and Settings in User Account--Edit

Questions regarding the Contact-Module:

I want to use the sitewide contact form only, which enables users to get in touch with me. I don't need the personal contact form which enables users to get in touch with each other. However, in "edit user account" the user always has the possibility to turn on/off the personal contact form.

Is there any way to make this user account setting disappear? If not, maybe that should be considered in future.

Thank you for your replies,
Best regards,

Dominik (Drupal-Newbie)

Help needed - Contact Module

Anyone?

Same desire

I have the same wish. Also a newbie.

No one? This makes me sad.

No one? Really? Is it that difficult?
I don't think so. I know YOU can do it. So stop lazyness, Drupal-guys - YOUR help is needed.
Thank you so much.

I was gonna bite my tongue,

I was gonna bite my tongue, but someone has to break you in, since you claim to be new. Please remember that this community is open source and everyone is a volunteer, your attitude is almost harsh, but won't offend anyone, just letting you know. Following that thought, a little extra googling could've helped your cause, most of these issues have ALREADY been fixed, I did 15 seconds of searching for you and found the answer which was posted almost a year ago, please consider that next time before you wait weeks.

Go to access control and scroll all the way down, leave them unchecked.

You stop being lazy! :p

Chubbakkaz, first of all,

Chubbakkaz,

first of all, thank you very much for the solution of my problem. I googled as well, but it seems that I have to improve my search.

Second, my posting was not meant to be harsh or offensive and I apologize if you think it is. However, I assumed that this issue was not a new one and that is why I expected a short answer with a link to the shown solution - as you did - a little bit earlier. My last posting, which was meant to be funny, intented to put focus on that issue again in order to prevent it from entering "nirvana".

It seems to me that I have to improve my posting style as well - next time I make use of smileys, guaranteed!

Thanks again,
Dominik

No worries, must've been the way I perceived it. Glad to have helped.
