Hi all,

I've just setup Drupal 4.6.2 on a machine and I'm trying to port my site into it. I'm having a problem with Read More always being displayed.

I've tried creating both a new page, then when that didn't display right, a new story and promoting them both to the front page in turn, but the problem persists... At the bottom of my main page, there is a 'Read More' link, even though there is nothing more to read.

According to http://drupal.org/node/4540, this was a bug a long time ago, but has been resolved.

I've tried with both the box_grey and the default bluemarine themes, and they both have the same issue.

Can anyone tell me how I can get 'Read More' to not display at the bottom of my pages?

I know you wrote there's nothing more to read, but for laughs you might want to check out the setting for trimmed posts.
Admin -> Content -> Configure (tab)
Set the length of trimmed posts to "Unlimited" so it will never trim a post, and see what happens.

Thanks :) I tried that, and it didn't work at first, but when I deleted and recreated the page, it now no longer shows the link
