I installed the FAQ and FAQ_Ask modules and configured them both.
I have only one user account (other than the administrator) and anonymous users can ask questions.
The user can see the unanswered questions and edit them to add answers, but when the answers are submitted they are not published.
Can anyone help?

nancydruIf a user answers his/her own question, he/she should have just created an FAQ to start with. Faq_Ask is designed so that an "expert" (someone other than the asker) answers the question. If one edits his/her own question, it is supposed to remain unpublished unless they also have the right to change the status in the work flow section.
Or did I miss the point of your question?

aguitta commentedI follow the question and answear, but have a slightly differente and probably simple problem. Once an expert answers the question, he can save, but has to take an extra step, scroll down - open the publishing options - clic on published.
What do you recomend? so as to make the published option a default and avoid the extra steps?
Thank you,
Juanfra

nancydruI'm not following that. The question always get marked published when it is selected to be answered by the expert.

emdalton commentedActually, I'm seeing the same thing. When the question is selected and answered by an expert, it's still "unpublished" on my system.

nancydruAre you both talking about an expert answering his/her own question?
Hover over the link in the block to see the URL. If it is "faq_ask/edit/..." then you are in edit mode (i.e. the question belongs to you). If it is "faq_ask/answer/..." then I have a hard time believing this is happening.
Check the "Experts" tab in the FAQ settings page and make sure the expert is actually an expert for that category.
