can't get the autosave to work - help

have follwed installation isntructions as specific
copied autosave folder in modules folder
copied the jquery.form.js file into modules/autosave folder
enabled the module under admin>>modules

not able to get any TAB (as specified in the documentation) under
Administer » Content management>>Content types

1. How do i enable it?
2. How ill i know if is autosaving - what will it create and where?

sorry if the support request is too basic - but i guess if i am lost - i am lost :-)
