openid module does not support http://openid.<domain>/<user> URLs

Description
myOpenid (https://www.myopenid.com/) provides the possibility for domain owner to use the following user URLs:
http://<user>.<domain>http://<something>.<domain>/<user>
I tried to configure the second on my drupal installation. The modules claims the URL is not an openid URL.
PS: for the component: I put "OpenID client" as a guess.
