I wanted to make a simple change to my front page by adding a photo to it. So I uploaded the Front Page module, following the instructions in the Read Me file. I got to the 5th step which reads, "5 Go to ADMINISTER - SITE CONFIGURATION - ADVANCED FRONT PAGE SETTINGS." (By the way, CONFIGURATION is misspelled as CONGIFURATION in the Read Me file.) However, when I go to Administer > Site Configuration, there's no Advanced Front Page Settings option! I'm a Drupal newbie (although an experienced HTML and PHP programmer), so maybe I'm just missing something obvious here, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is. I did find the permissions page for the Front Page module and gave administrators access, but that hasn't helped. What am I doing wrong?

You're not missing anything-- assuming you enabled the module properly you should have the advanced front page settings page at admin/settings/front (I just downloaded the latest d6 official release and tested it). If you grabbed the dev version, try the latest official release.
