The functionality to use 'Re: [parent title]' as a default for the comment subject field is also available as a separate module, and with a bit of luck the functionality will be included in Drupal 7 core.

You may (or may not ;-) want to use that functionality instead of adding your own.

Interesting... didn't know that existed. : P

In any event, the feature may as well stay in the 5.x branch, but if it ever becomes a core feature we can remove it from this module.
