List of registered users in the main event node

I would like to add a list of people that already registered in the main node view. This will help people know who registered already (and maybe avoid meeting people they don't want to see). All I need to know is if this can be added as a future feature or if you can provide a simple code sample for me to modify the module. A simple list of names would do. If you can provide that exmaple I can deal with the rest, like adding the role, etc. I trully don't know where to modify this, if making a separate function and call it from the event_nodeapi or what.

Please help.
