based on th FAQ provided, I have disabled "display drupal links", but the spaces still exists (NOT login as uid 1)

Q: When admin_menu is enabled, plenty of blank space is added to the bottom of
my theme. Why?

A: This is caused by a long list of links to module issue queues at Drupal.org.
Just go to Administer >> User management >> Permissions >> admin_menu and
disable the permission "display drupal links" for your or all roles.
Since uid 1 always has all permissions, this link list cannot be disabled
for uid 1.

The problem is that user/1 always has permission to access everything. This needs to be a configuration option for the module, not just a permissions option. It would also be worth looking into some option for displaying long menus differently so they fit within the screen (like the way Windows XP handles the All Programs menu).

as mentioned, the white spaces also comes up even for non user/1. Basically, is also shown for other users whose roles do NOT have permission on "display drupal links".

Well, how many modules do you have enabled? Is it the 'Site configuration' menu that exceeds your regular document height?
