from this page, when trying to moderate the spam que using the main system admin account:

I've set and reset permissions, and that doesn't seem to help. I can see that there are entries in the que that need to be moderated but can't access them.

I have the same problem, which I believe is also causing me to be unable to flag a comment as spam (gives me a page not found error).

Title:permission problems when trying to manage comment que» Same problem

Same here also. Any solutions yet?

The problem also exists with version 6.x-1.x-dev

I'm still having the same issues (looks like my other thread was deleted). I'm really wanting to have anonymous posters be able to submit comments, as some people just don't like to sign up (even if its free) Is there a module out there that works similar to Akismet?

Title:Same problem » Permission problems when trying to manage comment queue

The issue title is not the comment title. Please use something useful for the issue title; "same problem" doesn't even help who is submitting a new issue, and wants to be sure there isn't one already with the same topic.

If you're looking for an alternative to this module go with Mollom. It works better than Aksimet in ways and has the added benefit of being developed by Dries Buytaert so you know it'll always be up to date and won't ever have to face the problem we have with this module, namely that it is not being worked on by anyone.

At 30 EUR/month it's a little expensive for me

You can also use it without to pay for it, depending from the use you do of it; it's not different from Akismet.
