I wanted to use RealName to display user's real names in their forum posts and comments. Module is installed, created a profile single-line text field. selected it in RealName. But the realname does not display anywhere. Is this a theme issue?

I need a little more help with this.

Did you select the two options: "Override username theme" and "Show realname in nodes"? The realname is showing in both comments and forum posts on my test site.

In your global themes settings, have you enabled "Display post information on" for these? What about in the Forum Topics list, under "Last Post"? Do you have any theme overrides? Have you tried a different theme?

changing the theme while the "Override username theme" and "Show realname in nodes" options were selected made it work. switched back and still works. If the options weren't selected and i switched themes it did not fix it.
