Hey Aaron,

Meanwhile I delved deeper into Drupal video and found Media Mover which uses the JW FLV Player module already.

Here it is

Wonder if it would be better to link with that one, although I am not sure they support yet the YouTube Api. Will inquire with them :)

media mover and emfield already tie in to some extent, though i hadn't realized media mover already supports that player. also, i plan to help tie in youtube api (http://drupal.org/project/youtube_api) and emfield in the next week or so, so that will be good to go too.

I'm pretty sure this is now available via Media: YouTube. Please reopen in that module's issue queue if it's still an issue.
