For those of you who successfully migrated from Wordpress 2.5 (or blogger), How did you do it?

I am a bit shocked there isn't a cookie-cutter method of doing this, but oh well.

I am aware of wp2Drupal, but that only works for Drupal 4.7 apparently and it doesn't seem like one can even download 4.7.

I am also away of the program by Prime357, but I that doesn't seem to work for Hostmonster's shared IP interface.

I also searched all over google and found weird hacks and half-answers. For example, this guy http://addingunderstanding.com/2008/02/migrate-a-wordpress-site-drupal says its "Simple, just import it and tell Drupal to do it!" or something. I have no idea what he means.

So!

Who here successfully migrated their Wordpress 2.5 OR Blogger into Drupal 5.7 or 6.2? How did you do it? This would be greatly appreciated (basically, I won't be using Drupal unless there is some way of doing this)

At HostMonster you need to

At HostMonster you need to turn on "Allow Remote Access" or a similar term. Checking the Hostmonster forums it appears that you can activate "Allow Remote Settings" - here's a relevant thread check about midway in post, there's reference to this topic.

I use cpanel and a screenshot of what you should be looking for at your host is here.

Hope this helps.
