There may be an issue with Mini Panels. I inserted a menu into a mini panel and then into a block but Active Menus is not operational. Active Menus, however, is working correctly with the same menu in a block which does not use Mini Panels.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Yes, I believe the code is not written to look for blocks in other locations. This would require probably a small change in the jquery selectors. I'd welcome a patch.
