Issue Summary
It seems that this module has become inactive. I wanted to know if I could offer some help as a co-maintainer of the module. I think it's a great idea and want to make sure it's working. It appears from the queue that there are a few critical issues which prevent this from working properly.

I know I didn't wait the normal amount of time on this, but after making this offer I found #190080: Development for tokenize still active? which has been open for ~6 months. The issue queue is full of critical issues that have been sitting around for months with patches waiting.
So, I asked add1sun and she agreed that it seems reasonable to add myself to cvs access so I can take care of these obvious critical bugs and create a 5.x-1.x-dev release so that folks can use the module. If Morris comes back and disagrees with having a dev release or something I can always delete it & revert changes.

I see that some others have taken the lead by patching this module, and I greatly apologize for my absence in responding to patches. While I am still doing Drupal work, I have significantly cut back in order to go to law school -- so, any help is greatly appreciated. Let's definitely find a way to get this module moving again! I have no problem allowing a co-maintainer (or even delegating maintenance entirely) of this module.

Thanks for the response, Morris. I've given myself cvs access and will begin committing patches as a co-maintainer.

Awesome.. I need this module. (personally I think token and tokenize should be in core.) Keep up the great work.
