I was very pleased to find this module as a client wanted to use the Statcounter service. Thanks and kudos.

The problem we have is that we want out Statcounter summary to be accessed by the public so they can see that it is worth paying for membership. The statcounter website doesn't have any differing levels of access, either you see the info or not and we don't want pages like node/add/story and certain views countered. So I have added another level of Scope to your module: Anonymous which only puts the counter on pages that anonymous users have access to.

It is a quick fix that I may expand on with a list of pages to avoid.
Thought I would pass it on to you.

Regards
Geoff

Sounds like a good idea. If you get that to work consistently then I would be happy to include it.

If you need more of a hack then you can leverage the block system by entering a list of pages to exclude or whatever.

Of course. The block system. Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees (or maybe it's the other way round). Creating the same thing purely for your module seems silly when the block system works so well. It may be helpful to add a note to your readme file explaining that.

Thanks again for the module
