I have outsourced a website redesign and some custom coding to a great firm and they sent me some mockups today. I got one really great one, but I am afraid it looks too much like the Drupal.org site. Here is a link to the mockup, minus my companies name:

Is there too much similarity?
Thanks!

Don't panic
Hi Josh,
I'm not from drupal, but working as a designer for over 10 years. I'm usually extra-sensitive when it comes to copyright-issues, but your layout looks quite basic (imho a bit too basic for a "great firm"). The only thing it has in common with drupal is the color and the header tabs (like millions of other pages on the internet). In my personal opinion no reason to panic.
Kind regards,
Christoph

Afterthoughts
Christoph, thanks for the input. I guess I overacted when I first compared them side by side, but now I don't see a problem. I know the design looks basic, but that is what I want and once there is content, once the three boxes are populated, and once the 3 footer blocks are populated, it should come to life and look a lot better.
Sure, go for it
Sure, go for it. Good luck.
Kind regards,
Christoph
