I need to get information via soap , I found the soap cliet module , but I get erro after installation ,

Any Idea how should I install it ?

The installation is simply just like the other modules, place it under directory "/modules" and enable it in the administration panel. I'd be nice, if you could give more hint on what the error you got. Just say "error" does not give any clue for the idea to help.

contrib modules shouldn't be placed in the /modules folder

contrib modules should be placed in sites/all/modules
contrib themes in sites/all/themes

keeping core and contrib modules and themes seperate making updating and upgrading easier.
