Description

Hello,

I found the following features useful if you apply them into the module:

1. Remove "Authenticated user" role from list of roles that users can apply for. All registered users have this role and it does not make sense to apply for it.

2. In apply for role dropdown in registration form, add an option for users which do not want to apply for any role; currently -only in registration form- users have to apply for at least one role.

3. In Manage role applications page (admin/user/apply_for_role), when admin approves an application, it still remains in the list and user should remove it manually. I think after either approval or denial of application, the entry should be removed.

4. Add multiple approval or denial ability by adding check boxes for each entry; it makes mass application management much easier.

Farzan,

Thank you for your input.

1. This a bug. I've fixed it locally, but I haven't applied the patch to dev, yet. I appreciate the reminder.

2. This is already fixed in dev and will be in the next release.

3. This is by design and is extremely useful if one manages all role applications via Apply For Role (AFR). But a filter to only show active applications would be very useful.

4. Agreed, this would be extremely useful.

FYI: All features will be implemented in 6 and then backported to 5.

With luck AFR will see some significant improvements in August. Until then, I'm chipping away at it as (the very little) time (I have) allows.

Thanks again.

Best,
Soren
