GoDaddy as a Drupal ISP

Does anyone here have experience with GoDaddy as a Drupal ISP? I'm particularly interested in tech support and Drupal performance issues.

It sure has been hard finding a RELIABLE hosting service that's optimized for Drupal!

The Best Dedicated Drupal ISP I know

I have used ixweb hosting to host websites running on very large drupal database ( an average of 7,000 hits per day), check out their drupal hosting packages

Ghana Real Estate | Voacanga Africana Seeds | Shea Butter

Low cost; no support.

I have GoDaddy hosting several very low-profile Drupal sites. The space is cheap and load time is acceptable most, but not all of, the time. (Because I am running shared hosting, my site's performance is dependent on what the other sites on the host are doing at the moment.) The few times I contacted GoDaddy Support, I did not receive much help; "Unfortunately, we do not provide technical support with third-party scripting issues." I am wondering if I don't want to combine all my puny installs onto a single dedicated host. When I do I will likely move away from GoDaddy, but have not yet found a suitable replacement. Here are many options. Blessings! -NP

GoDaddy as a Drupal ISP

GoDaddy has excellent support, however, I found that the shared hosting was not optimized for my Drupal sites. Drupal seems to be very database intensive, requiring the database server to be on the same physical machine as the Drupal installation. Check with GoDaddy if that's the case with the hosting plan you go with. I found Hostgator.com's BabyCroc Linux hosting plan works very well for my Drupal sites.
