Hi, I've tried the latest dev release of EditArea module.
I've made a quick search for "FCKeditor" string in your module and it seems that you forgot to rename some things.
The most important bug is fckeditor_uninstall function in editarea.install file. Please give it the right name.

Thanks, I have updated the .install file, sorry it took so long.

I can no longer find any functions that contain the "fckeditor" string: there are still, however, many references within the comments. I'm having to remember how to do the updates, but the commit was made to both Drupal's CVS and the project SVN over at google.
