Is there a way or will there be a way in the future to tie into a majordomo distribution list. We are looking to use Drupal Portal as our new company homepage but would like to use our current majordomo list. We would like to make all majordomo discussion available through a web interface, such as drupal. Any help you could give would be great. Thanks

killes@www.drop.org commentedSo there are still majordomo users out there...
You might want to try my listhandler module which is supposed to put
E-Mails into the forums. Your need a dedicated e-mail postbox (POP3,
IMAP, or mbox file) for this. Also, your php needs imap support.
You can find the module on the downloads page.

This has been discussed before. Currently there is the
newsletters.module. This uses its own 'engine' wich is far from perfect.
Stefan an I have been woking on it, the latest build can be found in
stefans sandbox.
This version uses nodes to store mailinglist mails etc. But there;'s
still much to be done!
If someone feels like taking this up, i'll be most willing to help, by
eg explaining the current (in stef's sandbox) mailinglist version.

ttevans commentedAre there any other dicussion tools that allow postings to be done by email. I see there is a mailhandler module but it doesn't look as robust as majordomo. It doesn't seem to show discussion history in the emails. We are basically looking for a way to track, store, and search all the emails our deveoplers send to each other. Are there others plugins that do that.

bkessels commentedplease read killes's comment in This Thread.
Also dig into the project.module. That's what wer're using right now&here.
I Actually use mail to update and discuss this feature request.
What brings me to the following:
This is more a support question. So would you be so kind to subscribe to
the drupa support list. Any more discussion about what module to use
where should be held there.
